Mrs. Malarvili Prabath
Director, Women and Children Program
Mrs. Malarvili Prabath has served HOPE Foundation with her husband Dr. Ashok Kumar Prabath, Chief Program Officer , HOPE Foundation since 1997. She has risen up in life from humble surroundings to occupy a responsible position.
As Director, Women and Children Program, she handles various responsibilities:
- supervise Programs needs of underprivileged women and children (AIDS Home of HOPE, Nursery and Primary School and Tailoring Training Centre)
- Fund Raising
- Develop and maintain Donor relationships
Mrs. Prabath, with support from the staff, had taken up challenging projects like Fund Raising Events to raise over a lakh and thirty thousand of Rupees last.
Mrs. Prabath had a chance to deep into problems faced by people and to hone her skills in motivating motivating them during her stint as a Counsellor for the Indian Church of Christ in Bangalore between 1993 and 1996.
During her initial years of struggle to come out of a life in a family of modest capacity in Bangalore. She had worked as a Stenographer/Typist/Office Assistant in the High Court of Karnataka, Pharmacy College, Bangalore and Man Power Consultants, Bangalore over a period of six years till 1993.
Mrs. Prabath is an MA in Sociology from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. She has also done her Diploma in Commercial Practice from Ramnarayan Institute of Commercial Practice, Bangalore.
