Mrs. Priya Sirvatsan, is the Coordinator for HOPE's Paediatric Ward at the GHTM ,
Tambaram. At the Ward, she is responsible for
• Providing and coordinating medical support
• Educational and training support to the children
• Counseling for the women
• Managing care and support project at pediatric ward GHTM Tambaram.
To fulfill these roles, she draws from her experience as a member in a variety of projects initiated by HOPE Foundation. 11 years ago, she started her career as a Health Worker with HOPE Foundation. During her long inning, she has actively participated:
• as a health worker in the successful TB-Free slum at Santhome, Chennai.
• as an active member in the General health camp through out Chennai providing medical support by administering injections, dressing, distributing prescribed medicines.
• as a lab technician in Ambattur municipality for HOPE's TB project and Primary Health Clinic at Poonamallee
Besides, she has also been rallied by HOPE for valuable contribution to:
• the Leprosy Clinic at Bethel Nagar - Chengalpattu
• Tsunami relief – Cuddalore.
Mrs. Priya is a ‘ Graduate in Zoology ' from ‘ Stella Maris College (Autonomous)' Chennai. She is also a ‘ Post Graduate in Medical Lab Technology ' from Stella Maris College .
